Don’t you just love celebrating your birthday?! Coincidently it was mine 2 weeks ago! Whoop!
I secretly love it when I hear the notifications on my phone go wild. Probably one of the only times, friends you haven’t spoken to in ages messages you, and it feels like we were back to how it was. Just gives you the feels! The good kind!
Maybe it’s an age thing, birthdays used to be massive night outs or huge parties and now I am perfectly content with good food and few cheeky cocktails with your closest friends. Nothing beats banter over good food! Well except skydiving or maybe crazy golf…..Oh and cake, definitely must have cake…mmmm….I love cake.
The one day of the year that is all about you to spend however you like! (within reason obviously, don’t go too crazy now)
Here’s the thing, it’s also a good opportunity to score yourself some lovely freebies. Why? Cause…you, my friend are special! I’m currently trying to convince my friends to do it.
I have accumulated and signed up to a number of retailers over the years as you do, and some or most of them are very generous in rewarding their customers with freebies for your birthday.
So, for those of you with a birthday coming up, here’s a list of offers and freebies in the UK available to all of you birthday boys and girls.

1. Space N.K
This store stocks amazing brands, some I never heard of till they mention it. I love their membership, just go on their website, and register to become a N.Dulge member. You will receive an email for a voucher for a free gift! The gift can sometimes defer to the one specified in the email, as it is what is available that month but it is still a good one. You can either add it to an online order or print it off or show the email and they will take your details in store to get it 100% free. One year, I received the Nuxe oil for the first time which I’m a huge fan of now.
2. Paperchase
Treated myself to a few props to take pictures from here. You’ll receive a free £5 voucher to spend within two weeks of your birthday when you sign up for a free Treat Me card (no purchase necessary) or you can register it online.
3. The Body Shop
Just pop in store and get yourself a Love your Body card which is now free of charge, and you will receive £5 voucher to spend in your birthday month.
4. Millie’s Cookies
Soft, gooey, free cookie on your birthday? Yes and yes please! Just sign up to their mailing list.
5. Boost Juice Bar
Totally free juice/smoothie on your birthday for Vibe card members
6. Debenhams
Join the Debenhams Beauty Club Card and you are given a free brow wax at your nearest Debenhams Benefit counter on your birthday to be used within four weeks of your birthday. My friend told me about this only after my bday gah!
7. Greggs
You get a free sweet treat when you download the Greggs app– it’ll appear in the Rewards section of the app on your birthday and it is valid for one calendar month.
8. Krispy Kreme
Free original glazed doughnut! Yassss! Become a Friend of Krispy Kreme and they’ll email you with a voucher for your birthday.
9. Patisserie Valerie
Go to their website and join their ‘Cake Club’ and receive a voucher for a cupcake on your birthday. Oh and you also get 10% off your next visit just for signing up *yay*.
Freebies with condition (Restaurants)
1. Las Iguanas
Join their mailing list online or in the restaurant, and they will email you with a voucher for one free main meal when another is purchased.
2. Yo! Sushi
You get a third off your bill and a free bottle of prosecco when you book for four or more people at selected restaurants. You must sign up to their Yo! mailing list.
3. TGI Friday’s
With TGI, the freebies can vary for your birthday meal. Their offer can vary from free desserts or free drinks. As usual, sign up to their newsletter to get your voucher.
4. ASK Italian
With ASK, you’ll receive a voucher for £20 off a £50 spend for email subscribers on their birthday (can vary).
5. La Tasca
It’s a bottle of Cava when you spend £30 two weeks either side of your birthday at La Tasca.
6. Pizza Express
You’ll receive a free bottle of Prosecco (subject to availability) when you dine at Pizza Express within 2 weeks of the before or after your birthday with 2 main meals purchased. Sign up to their newsletter to get this offer.
7. Jamie’s Italian
For their Gold Club members – you will get a free bottle of bubbly. You can sign up on their website, and when you do, you will also get £10 off your first meal over £30 and sample appetisers (varies each month).

With Boots advantage card, you will be sent through post a points card,
2. Superdrug
On your birthday, you will get triple points with their Health & Beautycard loyalty card on your birthday. It’s also valid for 14 days after your birthday.

For my birthday, I took on Las Iguanas and their 2 for 1 yummy cocktails and Space N.K where I received Vita Liberata Body Blur which I recently discovered that it was used in the Victoria Secret fashion show a few days ago! First tanning product I’ve ever owned – this should be fun…
