My name is Courtney, a half Chinese Indonesian/English mixed girl, born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia and currently living in Newcastle Upon Tyne in England. A travel and food nut with a passion for experiencing new things and culture plus enjoying food from around the world. And photography, it’s amazing what you can capture with a camera!
What’s WhatsupCourtney about?
My vision and aim for www.whatsupcourtney.com are to provide a wanderlust for food and travel with a focus on travel itineraries, culture and heritage, and of course, to share with you food from around the world! Additionally, restaurant and food recommendations which is what I struggle with within a new place in the beginning but the joy is to find out! Can’t leave out hotel/resort reviews and also introducing both luxury and affordable luxury tips across the UK, Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world.
I originally created this website to share my passion for delicious food and travel, and to share all the weird and wonderful things I discovered and later on, to help others with their travel plans.
Come here often enough and you can find foodie finds i.e street food, traditional and street food Michelin, and recipes from around the world to try yourself at home, fun and interesting places to visit, photography tips, and always a continual stream of wanderlust inspiration.
I will be delighted if I know my blog has inspired someone to travel or to try something new in their life! Because life is about positivity, excitement, and experiencing new things. I hear it’s good for the soul, don’t you agree?
